| The Copano Bay State Fishing Pier is next to the State Highway 35 bridge over Copano Bay linking Fulton and Lamar. There are really two fising piers with two seperate "bait shops" at each end. The fishing pier is the old highway bridge with the middle section cut out. There isn't really any difference between the North and South ends. We visited the north end. The bait shop and attached restrooms leave a lot to be desired. If there are any princesses in your group, don't bother trying the potty. I'm not a fisherman but I would imagine that this is a good place to fish. There are huge lights spaced along the pier. Used for night fishing.
