The Town & Country R.V. Park in Roswell is well run. Driving into Roswell from
Ruidoso, we found signs telling us where to turn to get to the park. The park is located
inside Roswell off of a major road.
The pull-through spots are long and wide side-by-side. Easy parking. Trees well located
on the street side of the RV.
The hookups are well labeled and positioned. Since these are side-by-side spots it
really helps when hooking up to work with labeled water, sewer, power, and TV hookups.
There are really nice picnic tables for each campsite. There is also a charcoal grill
to be shared between pairs of camp sites.
The folks running this park are really friendly and helpful. They provided us with lots
of tourist information and advice for the Roswell area.
At the entrance to the office is this vending area.
They have weird garbage cans in Roswell. These cans are common in Roswell. They are not
unique to this park or area of town.
There is a bathhouse, restroom, and laundry building right in the middle of everything.
The proprietor of the park gave us brochures from the Roswell Visitor Information Center. She also recommended a couple of sites for us to visit.
We didn't have time to tour each of the recommended sites during the hours they are open. We ended up going to the Roswell Museum And Art Center, Goddard Rocket Museum, and International U.F.O. Museum And Research Center.
Roswell has a Super Kmart, Albertson's, and IGA grocery stores.
