Purdy's Natural Macadamia Nuts, located on Molokai, briefs guests on all aspects of macadamia nut cultivation. This small agricultural operation teaches guests all about the nuts - how the trees are grown, the orchard cultivated, the nuts harvested, and the nuts roasted.

A ripe nut is shown to the tour group.

There are a variety of ways to extract the nut from the husk. Various methods are shown to the guests from the tour bus. Guests are encouraged to husk the nuts themselves.

The nuts are excellent raw.

The orchard guide pours macadamia nut honey into a bowl for guests to sample. Guests are encouraged to take one of the coconut shavings and dip it into either the honey or the honey mustard. Yummie.
